Stars

As I marvel at the Winter Triangle of stars

The ruddy light of Betelgeuse shines redly
As Procyon and Sirius cavort and leap..
The majesty and mystery an endless canopy
Space dust..supernova and white giants
Hurtling at unimaginable speeds
Strange attractors dancing entranced
Nebulous nebula magnificence manifest
But all outshone by you
The brightest star
in
my
sky
The moonlight-kissed luminescence
Of your body
Entwined with mine
Our hearts aglow
Forming the perfect binary system
An ever closer Gravitational orbit
My strange attractor
Come, dance with me.

About Marie

An eccentric & quirky artist and writer who fills her time between fantasy roleplaying sessions with painting, writing and playing her guitar (rather badly). Usually to be found with paint-stained fingers surrounded by books and tubes of acrylic paint.
