Your line in the sand (poem)

I’m your line in the sand

Your soft place to land

Between the rock and the hard place

You’ll find me

Holding your hand

I’m your port in any storm

Keeping you warm

Pouring oil on troubled waters

Shining a light in the darkest places

Of your soul

I’m the rock you cling to

The light at the end of the tunnel

Dawn when the night is dark

I’m the dog that barks

I’m the wave that laps your shore

I’m here for you for ever more.

About Marie

An eccentric & quirky artist and writer who fills her time between fantasy roleplaying sessions with painting, writing and playing her guitar (rather badly). Usually to be found with paint-stained fingers surrounded by books and tubes of acrylic paint.
