Landscapes (poem)

As your fingers play across the landscape of our bodies I become lost….
In hills and valleys, peaks and troughs concave and convex……
Candlelight caressingly cascading, spilling golden light and shadow in equal measure….
Smooth whiteness…. Blues… Yellow and darker places…..
Each bruise the sweetest memory of remembered passion and promise….

The trails of rope kissing our skin.. burning, blazing, biting.. your mouth on mine…..
Shared breath hot and wanting, filling my lungs then emptying me…
A tide which carries my heart on a wave as it crests higher….
The softness of your full lips and the veiled hardness of your teeth moving always against mine….
Caressingly, hungrily, your loving tenderness breaking me….
Shattering, then making me more whole than ever before….

About Marie

An eccentric & quirky artist and writer who fills her time between fantasy roleplaying sessions with painting, writing and playing her guitar (rather badly). Usually to be found with paint-stained fingers surrounded by books and tubes of acrylic paint.
