Book Worms (Poem)

BOOKWORMS

I find it rather hard to sleep

Whilst footsteps in my mind do creep

In all those dark and shadowed nooks

They’ve fled the pages of the books.

That avidly I do devour

In every single waking hour

They fill the night with expectation

Those creatures of imagination

About Marie

An eccentric & quirky artist and writer who fills her time between fantasy roleplaying sessions with painting, writing and playing her guitar (rather badly). Usually to be found with paint-stained fingers surrounded by books and tubes of acrylic paint.
