Sketch A Day (#9) Duck

In today’s 60 second sketch I’m just illustrating a technique I personally use for brainstorming when I need a bit of inspiration as to what to draw.  It’s something I’ve done all my life.   I just use a pencil to faintly scribble on a piece of paper and then see what the scribbles suggest to me.   I suppose it’s a bit similar to seeing shapes in clouds, in a way.   That’s how I often create some of my more interesting works (not that this one is,  after all its only a duck type creature),  but at least you get the idea.

Thanks for  looking in,   if there’s anything you want to ask please pop it in the comments and I’ll be more than happy.   Have a great Monday.

About Marie

An eccentric & quirky artist and writer who fills her time between fantasy roleplaying sessions with painting, writing and playing her guitar (rather badly). Usually to be found with paint-stained fingers surrounded by books and tubes of acrylic paint.
