Ode To An Artichoke (Poem)

Just a silly ditty about a vegetable – why, I don’t know! I’m also pinching an idea from my co-blogger in putting a photo with the poem because its a great idea and all the best ideas are worth stealing šŸ™‚

Ode To An Artichoke

O artichoke you reign supreme

You are my vegetable dream

Most irregular in shape

With knobbles you are softly draped

Salads, steamed, you are divine

My lovely tuber Valentine

About Marie

An eccentric & quirky artist and writer who fills her time between fantasy roleplaying sessions with painting, writing and playing her guitar (rather badly). Usually to be found with paint-stained fingers surrounded by books and tubes of acrylic paint.
